NZ Secondary School Ki o Rahi Tournament Teams 2019

At the end of each National Ki o Rahi tournament two teams are selected, the New Zealand Maori and the New Zealand Secondary School’s teams!

They are a collection of the best secondary school players from all around the country, in years gone by these teams have come together to play one another and put on a high quality game for everyone who flocks to Koroneihana!

However of late, because they are from all around the country it has been difficult for them to all get together and prepare for the game. Hopefully it can happen at this year’s Coronation!

Whatever the situation, these are some of the best players from all around the country and we must commend them on their investment in our beloved sport! Here’s hoping any Year 13 students of this lot move into coaching roles to keep the development of the sport happening!
