Results - 2020 Taranaki Secondary School Kī o Rahi Regionals
Last week, the 9th September 2020 saw the Taranaki Region brave the covid restrictions and host their Secondary School Kī o Rahi Regionals at Patea Area School.
Larnee Wallace, Kaiwhakahaere at Sport Taranaki tells us “Originally we had 9 teams entered in the competitive section, and then had to cut 2 teams to make it covid appropriate. Unfortunately we only ended up with 4 teams.”
2020 Taranaki Secondary School Kī o Rahi Regionals
“Our 3 Wharekura Te Piipiinga Kakano Mai I Rangiatea, Te Kura O Nga Ruahinerangi and Te Kura O Ngati Ruanui join forces to become Te Kahui O Wharekura. They entered 3 teams and Patea makingup the 4th.”
“We had Te Kahui O Wharekura 3 play Patea in the final, With the Wharekura taking the win 38-11.”
