Kī o Rahi shorts - I te tīmatanga

I te tīmatanga, te kore, te pō

In the beginning there was nothing, from nothing came the darkness and potential.

These shorts are our first attempt at kī o rahi shorts - the shorts are black to depict te pō and the crosses depict the potential the game of kī o rahi has, the potential we all have to achieve great things.

Black is also a neutral colour which will work with many team/school uniforms.

We have kī o rahi shorts available for sale as an alternate to belts, we believe shorts can help make for a tidier and safer game for players, referees, parents and coaches.

Regions such as Auckland and Tūwharetoa already allow teams to wear shorts.

It pays to check tournament to tournament whether you are able to use Kī o rahi shorts.

Here is the size guide:

S- length - 40cm, 1/2 hip - 57cm, 1/2 waist - 35cm

M - length - 41cm, 1/2 hip - 59cm, 1/2 waist - 37cm

L - length - 42cm, 1/2 hip - 61cm, 1/2 waist - 39cm

XL - length - 44cm, 1/2 hip - 63cm, 1/2 waist - 41cm

2XL - length - 46cm, 1/2 hip - 65cm, 1/2 waist - 43cm

3XL - length - 48cm, 1/2 hip - 67cm, 1/2 waist - 45cm

They have 5cm x 5cm square velcro on the hips to fasten tags/rippers

The shorts also have drawstrings on the inside to help keep them up!
